The fizzle
around your core
after you implode
like the wicked witch
there is a fizzle
chatting about the core
lingering innefective
like murotic acids
valence muted presence
against elements unknown
love
the poets common answer
anecdote to the mundane
tilling a silver shredded splinter
into your veins
recently I observed new fresh vibrant love
between to young spirits
alive, talking, joshing in the moonlight
against two old and spiteful
two whos love has fizzled
into full resentment
bound by circumstance
a sadness undefined
like a point North of the North Pole
It makes your heart stop
It feels like the rubber in necessary machines
tearing
rendering the machine useless
it feels like a testimony to an empty heart
it destroys your initiative
it opens all of your unread mail and finds you
distraught
it erodes your harmonies
it fizzles down
decompresses your spine
and sets you free
